Description:
- Leverage drug checking to provide data, analyses, and market insights on the drug market and contents themselves, such as in Guinea-Bissau, Sierra Leone, and South Africa.
- Influence policy, regulation, protocols, service delivery, and more to ensure drug users are safe and supported by working in tandem with policy organizations.
Examples:
- Dozens of tests submitted to Drugs Data, an independent anonymous laboratory analysis and drug checking program that collects, reviews, manages, and publishes laboratory testing results. Performed the first documentary discovery of a very harmful MDMA adulterant N-Ethylpentylone in the US.
- Assisted in the discovery and R&D of DanceSafe’s Folin, Liebermann, and Morris Reagents.
- Performed 50 tests on street drugs in South Africa, testing for the presence of ARVs that were believed to be mixed in recreationally.
- Performed over 150 tests on street drugs in Guinea-Bissau and Sierra Leone to determine the contents of “Kush” and other drugs on the market. Click here to read about the preliminary findings.
