Crisis Infrastructure & Event Safety
When the music is loud and the crowds are big, we’re on the ground making sure everyone stays safe. We provide the boots-on-the-ground infrastructure needed to run high-impact harm reduction operations at events of any scale.
Proven Field Experience
We don’t just plan; we execute in the most demanding environments on earth. Our track record includes:
AfrikaBurn (Tankwa Karoo, South Africa):
- In 2018 and 2019, built the drug checking infrastructure from the ground up and coordinated and trained the drug checking teams for this massive desert event.
- On-Site Substance Analysis: Using colorimetric reagents and Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC), we analyzed over 100 substances on-site, providing real-time data to keep participants informed and safe in a high-risk setting.
The "Kush" Crisis in Sierra Leone and Guinea Bissau:
- Executed pioneering FTIR spectroscopic research in Guinea-Bissau and Sierra Leone to identify lethal contaminants in response to a declared national emergency.
- Advanced Substance Identification: Conducted over 150 field tests.Nitazenes were detected in 78% of the Kush samples overall (including 83% of samples in Sierra Leone), providing the data necessary to move from guesswork to practical, life-saving action in western Africa.
Our Impact & Expertise
Event Staffing & Coordination
We build, train, and manage dedicated harm reduction teams. Whether it’s a local show or a week-long festival, we handle the logistics of keeping a crew ready to support your community.
Public Education & Outreach
We don’t work in a vacuum. Our teams act as a vital bridge for onsite medical staff, providing specialized peer support and de-escalation that lightens the load for first responders.
On-Site Resource Distribution
We set up hubs to get educational materials and life-saving supplies—like Narcan and safer-use kits—directly into the hands of attendees in a way that is accessible and approachable.
